How to Write Your Resume To Get Result

Your resume is your marketing tool. You need to decide which resume is right for you. Based on your job experiences, decide if a chronological or a functional one is right for you or a combination. First, let us look at the chronological format.

The chronological resume has the following criteria:

Objective- Sales Manager

Summary- Experienced Sales Manager, recognized for achieving sales goal in new market share, train and supervised employees, spearhead over 10 years in the acquisition of 10 million dollars through sales, and developing and leading high profile sales team.

Experience – A detail job description starting from present position to the first position held. In your job description focus on your achievements by using these words:

Developed, achieved, trained, increased revenue %, launched, decreased, motivate, supply, target. Upgrade, transform, identify, resolve, implement, investigate, revitalized, and shared etc.

Education- state where you went to school and the degrees or certification earned.

References- Always state here (Available upon request).
